Dr Dharam has been practising as an
individual, family and couples
Professional Counsellor and
Psycho-social Therapist for the past 25
years in both Government and private
practice in Sydney and now on the Gold
Coast.
Dr Dharam provides assessment and
treatment for mental health disorders
such as depression, anxiety, stress,
anger management, suicide intervention,
grief and loss, and personal problems,
family and marriage/relationship
counselling, domestic violence,
parenting, intercultural relationship,
intercultural parenting, minority ethnic
counselling, psycho-social education,
mediation and conflict resolution, and
discreet home and phone counselling.
Dr Dharam uses a range of
holistic, integrated and appropriate
evidence-based approaches to assist
individuals build on their strengths to
enhance their well-being and develop
positive life alternatives.
Dr
Dharam also specialises in
intercultural relationships and
parenting and minority ethnic
counselling based on his academic
credentials, intercultural background
and insider ethnic status.
Dr Dharam is a University guest
lecturer within the School of Health and
Human Sciences and international guest
speaker, author and writer on
intercultural parenting, marriage and

the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of
Australia, Australian Institute of Professional
Counsellors and Australian Association of Social
Workers.
Dr Dharam believes that we
